Langmeil, Three Gardens 2021

Flag of Australia

Once a trading village established in 1842, Langmeil is a captivating pocket of Australia’s viticultural history. Owned by the Lindner family, whose own mark on the Barossa spans six-generations of farming, food, community and wine, Langmeil is renowned for its preservation of old vines and the making of distinguished wines from these cherished sites. Three Gardens 2021 is made from a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro (Mourvedre) - the classic "GSM" blend you find in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The nose is intense with notes of ripe raspberry, black cherry, mocha, subtle savoury and herbal notes adding complexity. The palate is bright, juicy and enveloping where the fruits are balanced by pepper and sweet spices. Medium-bodied in structure with lovely silky tannins which flow through the fruity, peppery and spicy finish.
